Kids love colour and texture and Moda Issue 5 is all about colourwork knits and colour texture knitting. The booklet contains a number of knitting techniques which are used to create pictures and textures. These include fairisle, wool wind (sometimes called colour wind or intarsia knitting) and knitting stitch embroidery. These techniques are for knitters with above average experience. There are also designs for newer knitters using basic knit and purl.
