The Sublime DK hand knit book contains 21 designs for babies from birth to two years. The Yarn is Sublime Baby Cashmere Merino Silk DK
The front cover shows a beenie which is a great knit for beginners. To knit this you will need: 4mm (UK8 - USA6) knitting needles for the main knitting and 3.75mm (UK10 - USA3) knitting needles for the neck edging plus 2 stitch holders for the Vintage Racing Helmet.
It takes the following number of 50g balls of DK:
Age 0-12 months: 1 ball for main, 1 ball for contrast.
Age 1-2 years: 2 balls for main, 2 balls for contrast.
